About Us

Hi everyone!

Most of you probably already know all about us... but if you don't, here's a little glimpse into our lives!

We're twin sisters who grew up in White Rock, British Columbia (love it and miss it!), and are now living in Ontario. We have done everything together, including all of our schooling. We both graduated with our Master's Degrees in Global Development Studies in October 2010 and have since then had a few short-term contract jobs (yes, the same ones), but have been unable to find full-time employment.

At the top of Preikestolen, viewing the Lysefjord in Norway!
We love to travel and have been lucky enough to have visited some incredible places over the past few years. We were so fortunate to spend our first year of university in England at Herstmonceux Castle. What an experience! It was this year abroad that kickstarted our travel bug. Trips to Paris, Berlin, Edinburgh, Athens, Seville, Rome (most of Italy actually!) and London introduced us to European cultures and left us wanting more. So, after graduating, we went to Norway for three weeks; taking in breathtaking landscapes and amazing outdoor adventures. Travelling is such a part of us, we find ourselves searching flights more frequently than we probably should... Another trip (or two!) will hopefully be a part of our "Drive to 25!".

We love to cook and bake - being in the kitchen is one of our favourite places to be! It gives us so much joy to cook and have people enjoy it! We are also huge Vancouver Canucks fans, and have been since we were 1 - we were even Canucks cheerleaders for our 1st Halloween!

Also, this past December, while working contract positions for World Vision, we decided to co-sponsor a little girl from Laos, named Mai. This is something that we had always wanted to do and we're so happy to have a new little 'sister'.

That's a little bit about us! We're excited to embark on this new journey and see where it takes us!
