Welcome!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to our blog!

We are so excited to be starting our own blog and hope that you will enjoy it! As you can see, we are planning a big year and figure this is the best way to have everyone join us along the ride.

Our 2012 started off slowly, working part-time retail jobs and dealing with the post-holiday blues. However, one unexpected phone call changed everything. We were being offerred the opportunity to fly to New York and get make-overs on the Rachael Ray Show! Within 24 hours we had found out, packed, flown and were in our hotel in New York. This decision was spontaneous and rather out of character for us, but it proved to us that life's too short to not take risks. We were proud of ourselves for this spur of the moment trip (and life-altering change!) and want to challenge ourselves to keep trying new things.

That's why we have decided to launch "The Drive to 25"! Crazy enough, not only is our 25th Birthday nine months today, but today marks the air date of our Rachael Ray Show makeovers! What timing! So, over the next nine months, we have a bucket list of adventures, projects and goals that we want to try to (and will!) achieve. Some may be more challenging than others, either budget-wise or mentally, but together we can make them happen! We want to make this a year to remember - and we hope you'll enjoy following our journey!

Ultimately, here's our goal:

- Promote literacy and education by raising $5000 to build a Reading Room through the non-profit organization 'Room to Read' (to learn more visit our 'Giving Back' page)
- Embark on 25 new experiences
= have 9 months of FUN!

We are excited to begin our 'drive' and look forward to keeping everyone updated along the way! Life's about doing what you love, learning new things, giving back and challenging yourself; and for us, that's what this year is all about!

Here's to new looks, new inspiration, and new adventures!

Stay tuned!
